ベネッセアートサイト直島
Benesse Art Site Naoshima, managed by Benesse Corporation and Naoshima Fukutake Art Museum Foundation, is a collective term for the art activities that extend throughout the entire Seto Inland area, with Naoshima Island as its center. We aim to become a guidepost to understanding what it means to “live well” (benesse).
Currently, Benesse House, Art House Project and Chichu Art Museum are open to public.
「ベネッセアートサイト直島」は、瀬戸内海に浮かぶ直島（香川県直島町）を舞台に、ベネッセコーポレーションと直島福武美術館財団によって運営されるアート活動の総称です。瀬戸内の風土や歴史、人々との関わりのなかから生み出されたアートワークとの出会いが、人間にとって普遍的な「よく生きる」ことの意味を考え直す契機となるよう、ベネッセハウス、家プロジェクト、そして地中美術館を公開しております。
